Building Stronger Communities Together
Supporting newly arrived refugee families as they build safe, stable, and thriving lives in Claremont and surrounding communities.
Our Approach
Claremont Canopy is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering refugee families through community-centered support. By connecting volunteers, local organizations, schools, employers, and community members, we help families move from surviving to thriving in their new homes.
Our process is simple and thoughtful.
We serve as an ally and advocate for newly arrived refugees, empowering them to thrive through community-centered support.
Vision
A welcoming, affordable, and sustainable community where every refugee family has opportunities to succeed, belong, and contribute.

Coffee chats provide our families an avenue to practice their English in a conversational setting. We connect volunteers with families, with the option of connecting in person or virtually. If you would enjoy participating in coffee chats, register below!
The professional mentorship program is open to volunteers in any field of work, who will guide their mentee in resume development, networking, identifying job opportunities, interview preparation, and so on. If you are interested in being a mentor, submit your information below! Thank you!
Our rental supplement program is vital to our families survival. With your generosity we are able to help families in times of need and ensure that they can pay their rent. With housing costs climbing, this has become one of our most critical programs.
